Meet Collins (Ede), our volunteer Trainee Gateway Assessor

Collins joined CA in May '25 and is currently a Trainee Gateway Assessor. Taking incoming calls from clients seeking advice and information on the problems they face.

Collins is a dual-qualified solicitor licensed to practise in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. He holds an LL.B from Nigeria and a Master’s degree in International Financial Law (with distinction) from the University of Sussex. Before relocating to the UK, Collins worked with a leading corporate and commercial law firm, where he advised corporate clients on complex transactions and regulatory matters. Alongside his legal practice, Collins is passionate about research, writing, and community service. He has a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. Prior to volunteering with Eastbourne Citizens Advice, he served with the Prison Ministry of House on the Rock, providing pro bono legal assistance to indigent inmates.

"Volunteering with the Eastbourne CAB offers me the opportunity to help people navigate everyday challenges—whether by providing information to support difficult decision-making or helping them explore practical solutions to their problems. I also find it fulfilling to work alongside compassionate individuals dedicated to public service."
