Trustee Helen Howard and team members from Citizens Advice Eastbourne took part in the Violence Against Women Walk on 22nd November 2025
This was the first day of 16 days of action organised by the UN to raise awareness of the subject.
About 40 people took part with speakers on bankers corner. In Eastbourne, Councillor Teri Sayers-Cooper is the Champion for Eastbourne Women and Girls' rights, leading a group of representatives from over 30 charities that work with or support women and girls.
There will be a further event on 10th December in the town centre and it would be great to see as many people as possible attend.
