Legal Walk 2026

On Thursday 16 July, members of our charity and Eastbourne's legal community laced up their walking boots for the Eastbourne Legal Walk 2026, a 10km sponsored walk along the town's coastline in support of Citizens Advice Eastbourne.

The event, organised by the London Legal Support Trust (LLST), brought together teams from local law firms and legal professionals to raise vital funds that go directly towards keeping free legal advice available for everyone in Eastbourne.

Why it matters

Demand for Citizens Advice Eastbourne's services has never been higher. Since the rise in the cost of living, the number of local residents seeking help with debt, benefits, housing and employment has increased significantly, alongside a sharp rise in people seeking support with domestic abuse.

Citizens Advice Eastbourne helps over 4,000 local residents every year, and events like the Legal Walk play a direct part in keeping that support free and accessible.

Donations for this year's walk are still being counted, so it's not too late to support the team. The London Legal Support Trust has pledged to donate 100% of funds raised through the Citizens Advice Eastbourne team page directly to the charity, meaning every pound donated goes straight to local advice services.
