We are looking for Research and Campaigns volunteers to join our dedicated team.
Our organisation has two main aims:
1 to advise people about the problems they are facing
and
2 to improve the policies and practices which affect people's daily lives.
That's where Research and Campaigns comes in.
We gather information based on our clients' experiences and we identify trends, particularly about unfairness. We research current rules, laws and guidelines and gather more evidence from our clients or the general public. We identify what needs to change to prevent others from having the same difficulties.
We then campaign for change by sharing our evidence with those who have power to influence things for the better - our MP, local authority, DWP, etc.
