Eastbourne CAB now provides most of its services via the telephone. It will no longer be necessary for clients to visit the main Bureau in person.

 Instead by telephoning 01323 417177 you can speak to a volunteer who will ask you a series of questions and decide the best way for you to receive information or advice. The volunteer may: 

• Direct you to a website such as www.adviceguide.org.uk for information
• Send you a leaflet or factsheet in the post
• Arrange for an adviser to call you back
• Make an appointment for you to visit the Bureau
• Direct you to another organisation that can help.

The service will be available between 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

There will no longer be an evening advice session on Wednesdays.

We are introducing this change to enable more people to access our services and to reduce waiting times.

You will still be able to visit the Bureau in person and access leaflets and websites with the help of a trained volunteer. If you need to speak to an adviser you will need to phone the advice line or speak to the receptionist if you are unable to use the phone.
