Financial Literacy Teaching Materials Since
last November Eastbourne CAB has been working on creating a set of teaching
materials designed to help students aged 16 to 19 to understand the world of
money. This has been funded by EDF Energy Trust. The project has also
involved East Sussex Trading Standards who have contributed a set of lesson
plans. The
teaching materials are available for
students to use and for teachers to download. The
materials cover ten subjects:

Identity Fraud

Ethical
Consumerism
Each subject contains
a Powerpoint presentation, Activities and a Quiz. The teacher's area
contains lesson plans for Key Stages 3 and 4 and 16 to 19.

materials is available free of charge to schools and colleges in the
Eastbourne Area.
